Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a System Administrator, where you'll leverage your expertise to maintain and optimize critical IT infrastructure. As part of a high-performing network of remote professionals, you'll ensure seamless system performance and security while working with leading companies in Silicon Valley and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer and maintain Linux and Windows server environments, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
2. Manage systems configuration, applying best practices for scalability and performance.
3. Implement and uphold robust security policies to safeguard infrastructure.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues swiftly, minimizing business disruption.
5. Monitor system performance, proactively addressing potential bottlenecks.
6. Collaborate closely with internal and external IT teams to deliver seamless technical solutions.
7. Create and maintain thorough documentation for system procedures and configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven expertise in Linux and Windows administration in enterprise environments.
2. Strong experience with end-to-end systems configuration and optimization.
3. Demonstrated ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration.
5. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
6. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
7. Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a remote work setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience integrating cloud systems (AWS, Azure, or similar) with on-premises infrastructure.
2. Certifications such as RHCSA, MCSE, or CompTIA Server+.
3. Background supporting fast-paced, innovative tech environments.
